Biography

Thomas Cummings graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Washington before pursuing and graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 2008.

He has practiced in surgery assist capacities, as well as in Otolaryngology and Emergency Medicine, but has made his home in the varied and exciting world of Urgent Care medicine.

He worked as the medical director of the Urgent Care Fellowship program at Multicare in Tacoma and has provided medical assistance to the Revolution, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu organization.

Cummings’ practice philosophy is to partner with his patients to arrive at the best health outcome. He wants to make sure patients know that they are heard and understood before discussing a plan moving forward.

When Cummings is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, as well as hiking, hunting and recreating in beautiful Washington.
